The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) has implemented the “Japan Entry Acceleration Program (JEAP) 2026” edition: A Program to Foster Business Collaboration with Global Regenerative Medicine Companies and aimed at attracting promising international firms seeking to enter the Japanese market or establish partnerships with Japanese companies. As part of this JETRO program, companies are supported in gaining a foothold in the Japanese market through workshops, mentoring, business networking, on-site visits, and a Demo Day.

In its second edition, the program will be held with the support of the Forum for Innovative Regenerative Medicine (FIRM). JETRO will select approximately 10 international companies from among applicants between July and October 2026 and provide introductory lectures on entering the Japanese market, tailored mentoring, and opportunities to meet with Japanese academic institutions and companies to explore potential collaborations. With a view to fostering the creation of new, partnership-driven value, JETRO will also provide business matching opportunities between Japanese companies and promising international firms.
There will be a Demo Day in Tokyo at the end of February 2027 to showcase the program’s outcomes. Further details will be announced on the JETRO website at a later date. JETRO will cover any travel and lodging expenses incurred.
